Safety First, Every Project, Every Day.... Apex Power & Automation Ltd is committed to Quality, Health & Safety, Environmental issues, Training and ongoing Education. We are committed to the safety and wellbeing of our employees, co-workers as well as our customers. Health and safety is a fundamental part of our business. We employ a full time Safety Coordinator to manage our safety program in both Alberta and British Columbia. We are committed to constant improvement by inspiring excellence rather than cementing mediocrity by creating Leaders in Safety. We are members of Pic’s Auditing, ISNetword and Complyworks for fulfilling our clients safety expectations.
Along with regularly scheduled Safety meetings, Apex Power & Automation also hosts monthly Leadership meetings. These meetings are our way to ensure that all of the Apex Family have deep focused values on leadership, quality installation, excellence in customer service as well as providing a great platform for new training and refining skills.

It's not contained in a manual that collects dust on a shelf; it's a process that each employee works to improve each and every day. It's one of our core values and is a way of life both inside our offices and out in the field.
We continuously strive to enhance our work environments. We have an overall professional approach to quality, safety, and service including a history of low incidents, improved morale and informed, responsive workers on each of our job-sites.
Along the way, we've incorporated some unique and creative approaches into our safety process. Daily job-site meetings, mentoring, accident investigations and crew safety monitoring are all part of the long-range goal to enhance job-site safety for everyone. Along with regularly scheduled Safety meetings, Apex Power & Automation also hosts monthly Leadership meetings. These meetings are our way to ensure that all of the Apex Family has deep focused values on leadership, quality installation, excellence in customer service as well as providing a great platform for new training and refining skills.
We accomplish this through a variety of components that make up our Apex safety process, including:
• Full-time safety coordinators.
• Certification for all supervisory personnel.
• First-aid and CPR training and certification for all supervisory personnel.
• Employee training on such topics as hazard communication, fall protection, material handling and personal protective equipment.
• Equipment-specific training for confined space and material handling equipment, aerial platforms and lift operation.
Apex Power & Automation has a strong commitment to providing a safe, clean and secure workplace and maintaining a culture which promotes the highest standards for employee health and safety, while delivering the highest quality product to the customer. We accomplish this by making safety an integral part of the day-to-day responsibilities of our employees.
Our Safety Coordinators are responsible for the strategy and oversight of safety education and jobsite safety programs. Field Safety Managers are responsible for working with line management to implement and maintain the fundamentals of our safety culture. We have a trained staff of safety professionals to step into dedicated job-site safety roles.
